Peppermint Chocolate Mousse

The perfect sweet tooth satisfier right here is this PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE MOUSSE!

I have been trying to make a chocolate mousse that is clean and healthy for a long time now. As a child I remember thinking it was strange to be names Mousse as I thought I was MOOSE, but I didn’t care, it was amazing no matter what you called it! I remember ordered it all the time! And one time I remember having it with a touch of mint and I can remember exactly where I was, and who I was with! My parents, it was raining, we were in Sag Harbor in raincoats, at a little place on the strip of amazing shops. And I had a MINTY CHOCOLATE MOUSSE.

Let’s face it, no matter what we do, no matter how clean we can eat, no matter how healthy we are trying to be, it’s just not fair to cut out CHOCOLATE completely!  So, I created this!  Try this GUILT FREE chocolate mousse and you will be in heaven!  You can always remove the mint if you desire just the chocolate.

 

 

Here’s how easy it is!

What you need:
2 medium Avocados

1 medium banana

1 scoop (or Packet) Chocolate Protein Powder (I prefer Shakeology)

2 tbsp of DARK chocolate Organic Chocolate Chips

2 tbsp PURE maple Syrup

2 tbsp UNSWEETENED Organic Almond Milk

1/4 tsp Pure Peppermint Extract

 

Directions:
1.  Add all ingredients into a blender.  I use my NINJA!  And puree until smooth.

2.  Spoon into small serving bowls and either serve immediately or keep int he FRIDGE for up to 4 hours.

3.  Sprinkle with a few extra chips!

 

Makes about 6 servings @ 1/3 cup each

——> 21 day fixers – I would count this as one YELLOW treat!

 

My KIDS LOVED this and couldn’t believe it was HEALTHY and CLEAN!
