🍀 Who looks forward to a SHAMROCK shake in March? 🍀
We used to get shamrock shakes from the local drive thru all the time, that was before I knew they were loaded with sugar, ice cream and who knows what else. So I was determined to create a HEALTHY version with my Vanilla Shakeology! And, I think we nailed it here!
I like knowing what’s in what my kids are eating, and at least I can feel good about this blend right here packed with:
a Protein blend,
an Antioxidant blend,
an Adaptogens blend,
a Pre and Probiotic Digestive Enzyme Blend!
I bet no DRIVE THRU has all that!
Here is my CLEAN VERSION of the SHAMROCK SHAKE, one that you can feel good about!
1 scoop vanilla Shakeology
1/2 frozen banana (not necessary)
6 ounces of water
2 ounces of unsweetened almond milk
large handful of spinach (green container if you are doing the 21 day fix)
1/4 tsp of pure peppermint extract (easy here, you will have mouthwash shake if you add too much)
My kids words, “it tastes the same!”
The grasshopper shake, just use CHOCOLATE shakeology instead!
